What is meant by Superconductivity?

Explanation

is the ability of certain materials to conduct electric current with practically zero resistance . This produces interesting and potentially useful effects. For a material to behave as a superconductor, low temperatures are required. Superconductivity was first observed in 1911 by H. K. Ones, a Dutch physicist. It is an idea like if we pump some electricity into a closed superconducting loop, that loop would hold its charge indefinitely. The electrons will simply go round and round and round, never stopping, and never losing any of their energy to resistance, magnetic interference, or even heat loss.
