Question
Which one is the declaration of the static string?
Choices
Choice (4)  Response

a.  “static string”

b.  Static string

c.  ‘static string’

d.  Char string [30]

Answer
b.Explanation
If we want the variable to get defined as static, we need to add static keyword before its name. Its default initial value is always 0. If any variable is defined as static then value of that variable persists between different function calls.
Like,
main ()
{
staticinti;
for (i = 0; i< 4; i++ )
{
printf (“%d”, i);
}
}
will print 0123

There is a pipe having diameter 6 mm, then how many pipes having 1 mm diameter will be needed to provide the same amount of water?
Explanation
As we all know pipe is cylindrical in shape.
Volume of pipe (cylinder), V = r^{2}h
Where, r = radius of the circle and h = height of cylinder
Here, for r_{1} = 6 mm,
V_{1} = 36h mm^{3}
And for r_{2} = 1 mm,
V_{2 }= 1πh mm^{3}
Number of required pipes = V_{1} / V_{2}
= = 36
So, number of pipes required to provide the same amount of water = 36

Sister’s age is twice than that of the brother. If the brother’s age is six, what is the sister’s age after two years?
Explanation
 At present,
 Brother’s age, b = 6 years
 Sister’s age, s = 2b = 12 years
 After 2 years,
 Brother’s age, = b + 2 = 8 years
 Sister’s age = s + 2 = 14 years
 After two years sister’s age will be 14 years.
