There is a pipe having diameter 6 mm, then how many pipes having 1 mm diameter will be needed to provide the same amount of water?

Explanation

As we all know pipe is cylindrical in shape.

Volume of pipe (cylinder) , V = r2h

Where, r = radius of the circle and h = height of cylinder

Here, for r1 = 6 mm,

V1 = 36 h mm3

And for r2 = 1 mm,

V2 = 1πh mm3

Number of required pipes = V1 / V2

= = 36

So, number of pipes required to provide the same amount of water = 36

Who uses cache mechanism?

Explanation

  • TLB (Translation Lookaside Buffer) is a memory cache for storing recent translations of virtual memory to physical addresses for faster retrieval.
  • Memory management hardware uses this cache to improve the virtual address translation speed. Like, if every request for a memory location emanating from the processor required one or more accesses to main memory then processor would be extremely slow. So high performance processors include TLB. TLB works same as data cache.
