  • Let the length of rectangle be l and breath be b. Then area of rectangle will be = l b
  • Now length of rectangle is increased by 20 % . So, new length will be = l + 20 % of l
  • = 1.2l
  • Breadth is decreased by 20 % . So, new breadth will be = b - 20 % of b
